Brief physical description:

Anya has red hair, green eyes and looks a lot like her mother. She has the athletic build of someone who partakes in daily exercise. She can always be found wearing the latest fashions and wearing expensive jewelry.

History:

Anya Natalia Romanova Stark is the product of a brief romance between Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, and Tony Stark, Iron Man. The romance ended, but Natasha found herself pregnant with Tony’s child. In good conscience she told Tony about her pregnancy and the two decided to have the child, but they did not marry.

Natasha delivered a baby girl in August of 1992 and the couple named the child Anya Natalia Romanova Stark.

As a couple, Tony and Natasha lasted for three years after Anya’s birth. Differences led to an amicable parting and they agreed to an equal sharing of the responsibility of raising Anya.

Spying duties kept Natasha away for long periods of time, leaving Anya with her father at Avengers’ Mansion. She grew up around her various aunts and uncles and their children.

When Anya was ten she was a passenger in a car involved in an accident. She sustained severe injuries, some which were to her spinal column. The accident left her paralyzed from the waist down.

Using technology developed for controlling his suit, Tony injected his daughter with nanites in hope to repair the damage to Anya’s spine. Unfortunately Tony did not tell Natasha of his plans for Anya and the relationship between Tony and Tasha soured.

The nanite injection worked. The nanites repaired Anya’s damaged nerves and she was once again able to walk. Tony was unable to remove the nanites after the procedure and they remained in Anya.

Anya soon discovered that she was able to control electronic devices by a touch by means of the nanites.

Eventually she asked her father to create her a suit of armor similar to his Iron Man armor. Tony, unable to say no to her, relented and had a suit of black armor created for her. The suit was made out of a mixture of virbrinium and adamantium. This infuriated Natasha, driving a larger wedge between her and Tony, and created a gap between mother and daughter.

Anya has been kicked out of numerous private schools and now has a private tutor for her studies.
